Materials used:
Heavy gauge type 304 tube, rod and sheet stainless steel for all gates, side panels and back panels assuring you a lifetime of product longevity.
Construction:
Good, strong welds that withstand the challenges of hard, everyday use. Mitered corners on all of our tube supports add to the strength and appearance of your entire system.
Gates:
Each 6.35 mm round rod is welded at every intersection and inserted completely 
and tightly into the 31.75 mm square tubing of the gate frame. Every third rod is spot welded for maximum rigidity. The 6.35 mm vertical rods pass through a 31.75 mm square tube horizontal centre support bar. The construction design of our gate results in unsurpassed strength and sturdiness.
Latch:
Heavy duty double positive latch assembly (exclusively Shor-Line) incorporates an “Acetal” bushing for long lasting, quiet operation. For added security, the bottom of the latch accepts a lock which you can supply.
Side Panels:
Side panels are available with either “Total Isolation” or “Semi Isolation”.
Total Isolation side panels are constructed of a smooth solid stainless steel sheet running the entire height of the panel.
A Semi Isolation side panel consists of solid stainless steel sheet over the lower 1219.2 mm panel surface. The isolation portions are constructed with two stainless steel sheets each welded to the stainless steel panel frame. Sandwiched between these stainless steel sheets is a vermin and mould resistant, sound deadening material which reduces noise levels to a minimum. The upper 762 mm portion of the side panels are grill panel construction with 6.35 mm stainless steel vertical rods securely fastened to the 31.75 mm square frame.
Standard side panels come complete with 152.4 mm legs with levelling feet on the front and they utilise a 152.4 mm rear leg support that telescopes an additional 101.6 mm.
Back Panels:
Available as “Total Isolation” and “Semi Isolation” panels. Utilises same solid stainless steel construction as side panels.
Floors:
Supplied in sections for ease of removal and cleaning, our raised floors are constructed with heavy 9 gauge expanded metal covered with a comfortable PVC coating. Floors are designed with centre supports to minimize deflection – even with weights up to 113.4 kg.
